Double nappy system
Why is a double nappy system required for Aquababies swim classes?
To avoid any accident babies must wear a double system, by this we mean an aqua nappy this can be disposable or one that can be washed and a Happy Nappy. Children not yet potty trained must wear a swimming nappy that is snug around the thighs and tummy. We are looking to avoid any accidents in the pool. These can either be disposable or reusable. We do advise you to use a happy nappy over the swim nappy, to ensure no leaks.This is very important and you can not swim without this double nappy system. A baby warmer wet suit and a swim nappy will not be enough.
The Happy Nappy should be snug around the waist and thighs. If it is too small, too loose or has completely lost its shape it’s not going to do its job. If you are in any doubt please have any of our Aquababies staff at your classes to check it out for you!
